Set up ParSEO Edge (DNS records)

The short answer
ParSEO Edge goes live in four stages the app shows as a progress bar: proof records, certificate, point www, live. You add a few TXT records at your domain company, wait while Cloudflare issues the certificate, then change your www record to the CNAME value ParSEO shows. To undo, set www back to the old value ParSEO keeps for you.

Step by step
Start the setup
In ParSEO, open Settings, then Connectors, and press Set up ParSEO Edge in the Publishing card.
Add the proof records
Copy each TXT record ParSEO shows and add it at your domain company. ParSEO checks for them by itself.
Wait for the certificate
Cloudflare re-checks on its own schedule and issues the certificate. Nothing to do unless a record says otherwise.
Point www
Change your www record to the CNAME value ParSEO shows.
Forward the bare domain
If people type your domain without www, forward it to www at your domain company.
Check it's live
The card turns Live. Approved fixes now go into your pages.
Where to add the records
At the company that manages your domain's DNS records. That's usually where you bought the domain, sometimes your website host, and for a domain bought through Wix or Shopify, inside that builder's domain settings.
What each record does
- TXT proof records prove the www address is yours, so Cloudflare can issue its certificate before anything moves.
- The www CNAME sends visitors, Google and AI crawlers through ParSEO Edge, which fetches each page from your real host and puts in your approved fixes.
If something looks wrong
The Edge fails open: if anything at ParSEO goes wrong, your original page is served. To take Edge out completely, set your www record back to the value ParSEO shows under Something wrong? Undo in one step. Your site returns to how it was, usually within minutes.
Before you leave ParSEO
Fixes served by ParSEO Edge stop when Edge is switched off. Press Download your fixes on the Approvals page first: your web person can put each fix into the site itself.

How long does the certificate take?
Cloudflare re-checks on its own schedule. The card shows how long it has been waiting and whether any record needs fixing.
Do I move my domain or nameservers?
No. Your domain and nameservers stay where they are. You add records and change one: www.
