For clinics
SEO and AI visibility for dental and medical clinics
Updated · 4 min read · By The ParSEO team
The short answer
Patients search for a treatment and an area, then check reviews and timings. Clinics that win have one clear page per treatment, a complete Google Business Profile, identical details everywhere, genuine reviews, and wording that follows medical advertising rules. ParSEO tracks those treatment searches daily and checks what AI assistants say when patients ask for a clinic near them.
Key points
- Patients search treatment plus area, not your clinic name.
- One page per treatment beats one long services page.
- AI assistants lean on consistent details and trusted listings.
- Follow your council's rules on advertising and claims.
How patients search
Most patients start with the treatment or the symptom and a place: "root canal treatment in Indiranagar", "dermatologist near me open Sunday", "PRP hair treatment cost Pune". Then they compare a few clinics on reviews, distance, timings and price.
What AI assistants say
Ask ChatGPT or Gemini "good dentist in Jayanagar for implants" and you usually get a short list of clinics with reasons: reviews, specialisation, location. The clinics named are the ones that are easy to read about: clear treatment pages, consistent details on Google and health directories, and real reviews. If your details differ between sources, assistants often leave you out rather than risk being wrong.
What ParSEO does for you
- Checks Google every day for the searches that matter to you, with Search Console's own numbers beside each one.
- Asks the AI assistants every week (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI and Perplexity) the questions your customers ask, and records who they name.
- Reads your competitors' sites, so you see who outranks you, why, and what they charge where they publish prices.
- Fixes your real site with your OK: clearer titles and descriptions, structured data, missing pages. Every change can be undone for 14 days.
- Writes blog posts from your own answers, with sources, at most two a week.
- Proves each change: when it went live, when Google read it, and your position before and after, with dates.
Where to start
- Give your three most important treatments their own pages, with the area in the title and the answer to "how much, how long, how many visits" near the top.
- Make your clinic name, address, phone and hours identical on your site, Google Business Profile and directories.
- Ask happy patients for reviews with a direct link, and reply to each one without discussing their treatment.
- Add Dentist or MedicalClinic structured data that matches your contact page.
- Read your council's current rules before publishing claims, before-and-after images or comparisons.

Questions to answer on your treatment pages
- How many visits does it take, and how long is each one?
- Does it hurt, and what is done to keep the patient comfortable?
- What does it cost at your clinic, or what range, and what changes the price?
- Do you accept insurance or offer EMI?
- What should the patient do before and after?
- Who performs it, and what are their qualifications?
Mistakes that cost clinics patients
- Treatment pages that describe the procedure in textbook terms but never say anything about your clinic.
- Timings on Google that don't match the website, especially on Sundays and holidays.
- Replying to a negative review with details of the patient's treatment.
- Different clinic names on Google, the signboard and directories.
What to measure in the first 90 days
- Impressions and position for your three main treatment searches, in Search Console.
- Calls and direction requests from your Business Profile.
- How often AI assistants name your clinic for "best clinic in [area] for [treatment]" questions, week by week.
- Which competitor clinics are named instead, and what their pages and listings do that yours don't.
An outline for your most important treatment page
- A title with the treatment and your area.
- Two opening sentences: who it's for, and your price range or starting price.
- The steps, the number of visits and how long each takes.
- The doctor who performs it, with qualifications.
- Before and after care, in plain words.
- Three to five questions patients ask, answered briefly.
- How to book: phone, WhatsApp or a booking link, with your hours.
Questions to track in AI assistants
- "Good dentist in [area] for implants"
- "Painless root canal in [area]"
- "Skin clinic near [landmark] open on Sunday"
- "How much does [treatment] cost in [city]?"
- "Which clinic in [area] has a female gynaecologist?"
Ask the same questions every week and note which clinics are named, which sources are cited, and whether your details are right.
