How ParSEO blog posts work
Updated · 2 min read · By The ParSEO team
The short answer
ParSEO picks the post most likely to win you a search, asks you only what you know, and writes the rest with sources. Every sentence is checked before you read it, and any sentence that fails is left out and listed with the reason. You approve it, it goes live, and you can improve a live post later. It writes at most two new posts in any seven days.
Key points
- Ideas are scored from measured things: searches, AI answers, competitors' pages.
- Figures must come from what the paragraph cites, such as your own answers.
- At most 2 new posts in any 7 days; a rewrite isn't a new post.
- A Ready for Google checklist gives advice, never a block.
Step by step
Pick the idea
Choose from ParSEO's ideas, ranked by how many people search for each, where it came from, and how many parts of ParSEO suggest it.
Answer its questions
Answer the few questions only you can answer about your business.
Read the draft
Read the post, with what it adds that the top results don't, and the Ready for Google checklist.
Approve and publish
Approve it and it goes live on your blog. ParSEO then watches Google read it.
Where ideas come from
Each idea is scored from measured things, never an estimate: how many people search it a month (Google's own number, when there is one), or how often AI recommended competitors and never you for that question; how strong the reason is (AI naming competitors and never you counts most, then a search people type, a competitor's ranking page, your To do list, and ideas you added); and whether more than one part of ParSEO suggests the same subject.
How every sentence is checked
The writer cites where each paragraph comes from: your answers, your business details, one of your site's pages, or general background. Then:
- a figure (price, years, count, time) must appear in what that paragraph cites;
- background may not state figures or speak for your business;
- no other business is named, and no promise is made that you didn't make;
- links and emails go only to your own site and address.
A sentence that fails is left out and listed with the reason, so you can add the fact (if it's true) and rewrite, or leave it out.
How many posts
4 a month on Starter, 8 on Grow and 8 per site on Scale, and never more than 2 new posts in any 7 days. Rewriting a post you already have doesn't count as a new one.
Improving a live post
Open a live post and choose Improve this post. You can rewrite parts of it, publish the update, and undo it.
Coded sites
If your site is built in code on GitHub, each published post also arrives as a pull request for your developer to merge. See ParSEO for coded sites.
Questions people ask
Will posts mention my competitors?
No. The check removes any sentence that names another business.
Can I edit the post before it goes live?
Yes. The draft is yours to edit, and the Ready for Google checklist is advice only: nothing on it stops you publishing.
